Perceived security does not necessarily correspond to objective data on criminality
To help institutions to interpret the data on “criminality” in all its complexity, Intellegit offers services for the execution of sample surveys on the objective and subjective security of citizens in urban contexts.
Objectives
Identify the number and type of crimescommitted in a given territory (regardless of whether or not they are reported)
Overcome the limitations of official statistics
Have updated, geo-referential data on criminality, lack of security and urban disorder
Understand where the episodes of physical and social disorder are concentrated
Identify existing discrepancies between objective security of the town (real criminality) and the subjective perception of security by citizens
Interpret the level of security perceived by citizens (and the areas considered to be more or less secure)
